Yes, my 2011 Mother’s Day cards all revolved around flowers.  Not super-creative but it gets the job done.  And now the job is literally done because this is the last MD design for me (for this year).

For some reason, the card did not want to stand up while I was taking the picture so I apologize for its bad posture.

Echo Park paper, SU ribbon, Certainly celery CS cut to resemble (sort of) grass.  Stamp and sentiment by Elzybells (discontinued).  Lots of glitter and a few pearls coloured with Copics.

P.S.  I’m finally getting the hang of my bow-easy.  Yay me.

Bouquet of Thanks

Another of the Mother’s Day offerings.  I’m keeping it simple but I did spend a little time fussing around with this card.   One of my co-workers (probably one of the sweetest, most sentimental people on the planet) asked me to make her a card for her mom so I wanted it to be a bit fluffy and sparkly if that makes sense.

Echo Park paper, Penny Black stamp, hand dyed wrinkle ribbon, a button, Copics, Sentiment by PTI. (Oh, and some glitter – gotta have glitter).

Back tomorrow with my last Mother’s Day card.

Just a Quickie…

Slowly getting to the Mother’s Day cards.  Bummer that the first Sunday fell on the 1st.  Gives me a lot less time to crank out some orders…

Here’s the first design I made for Mother’s Day 2011…

Shabby Echo Park paper paired with some bright pink and a  bit of yellow ribbon.  Spring-like! (got the layout from a card on SCS – can’t find the name now but if anyone knows let me know and I’ll properly credit)
