I took some vacation days last week and – while I didn’t do much from the long list of planned activities – I did get to spend some crafty time playing with my card-making toys.

Nothing I made has been posted yet because I had to do a little rearrangement in my craft room to make space for my new Silhouette Cameo which meant temporarily disassembling my picture-taking area and moving it to an area that requires an extension cord (which DH picked up last night).

Now that I’m back in business, I’ve got a blog backlog!

While moving things around to make space for the Cameo, I realized that the scrap pile was stacking up again.  I didn’t make much of a dent in it but have managed to make a few cards over the last few days that specifically use papers from the scraps.

Here’s the first scrap card:

I used an old Imaginisce stamp that had probably never seen ink up to this point as well as stamps from a variety of paper pads.

It’s not “the best card ever” but it’s certainly cheerful!
