It’s been a while (over 2 months) but I have taken a break from making cards and have been concentrating on a few jobs around the house (such as repainting all the rooms on the main floor).

I’ve also taken a break from purchasing papercrafting items (except for my monthly card kit but I may give that up soon too) as I don’t get enough time to utilize the items I’m buying and it seems to be a bit of a waste of money.

On the plus side, it doesn’t mean I’ve given up crafting.  I have made a few decor items for the house (such as canvas wall art) and I think I’ll just be broadening my focus on what I make.

Having said that, I’m debating giving up my blog.  I think the hosting renewal is up in the Fall so I have a bit of time to make that decision.  (I could go back to blogging, who knows?)

Here are some canvases I made for some members of the Beagle Paws group…I made one for myself to hang next to some pictures of our beagles and there was a bit of interest so I whipped these up yesterday:

They’re 16″x20″ in size and I love the sentiment.  We have 2 rescued beagles…I’m a huge advocate of adopting over buying a dog from a breeder – not that there is anything wrong with choosing to own a specific type of dog but there are so many wonderful dogs (and other animals) out there looking for a good home.
