Doggone It!
Cards July 26th, 2010I’m finally getting to cut into my newest pad of Basic Grey paper. Max and Whiskers. It’s adorable and you NEED it.
I desperately wanted to machine stitch on my card but I broke my purple Pixie a couple of days ago (I think I tried to use thread that was too thick…the bobbin case came out of it’s race (that rhymes!) and I can’t figure out how to make it work again. Disappointingly, Singer never did reply to my email asking if they could send me a diagram of how it should be placed. My next sewing machine will NOT be a Singer even though I thought the Pixie was a great little machine for the money)
Anyway, I’m trying to move on from the loss of the world’s ugliest sewing machine but managed to sneak in a little of the sewing theme using a cuttlebug embossing folder along the bottom of my card. Take a peek:
I love cards that use bits and pieces of patterned paper. It’s a great way to use scraps. Unfortunately I cut into 4 fresh pieces of paper to make this little guy. But still…
Speaking of paper scraps, I’m going to be doing another “Happy Mail” giveaway as soon as I get my room tidied up. Lots of new product kicking around so if you’re interested in some scraps, keep an eye out for my post!

Maawwweeeee…..ever cute! Adorable puppy image. I like your layout too, I’ll have 2 give it a try. YAY for “Happy Mail”…..woohoo! Always interested in crafting scraps. LOL!
I’ll be hosting a Stampin’ Up workshop in two weeks, I can’t wait….I’m running low on supplies. Have a great week
This looks great!
SUCH a cute card! I love that little Whipper Snapper pup. I have a sheet of Max & Whiskers paper that I haven’t had the heart to cut yet… I will soon, I’m sure, when I have just the right card in mind.
I will definitely be keeping an eye out for your paper scraps! You and I have very similar tastes — I’ve got a wishlist a mile long at Twopeas and I’ve seen you use the exact same patterns time and time again. A girl after my own heart!
