Another Christmas crafting season over.  I’m a little bit sad as I always find Christmas crafts fire up my mojo and I don’t feel that way about other “holidays” or events.  However, it was a busy few months and I’m looking forward to more time “just for fun” in my craft room.

I spent the (wet, windy) early evening putting away all my Christmas stamps, papers and embellishments and clearing out a couple of things that I don’t want to hold on to any longer.  I have to do a better purge of the room later but I’ve put a dent in it so I’m happy with that – for now!

I did expand my craft offerings this year and that means that more craft materials had to find a home in the room.  I’m working with fabric, ceramic, and glass – mostly using heat transfer vinyl or sign vinyl – so I need space for those materials as well as the packaging I use (boxes, bags, tissue paper, bubble wrap).

I also got a new sewing machine this year and treated myself to a spool rack and some new scissors – I’ll be re-homing my old machine which is a basic Brother machine I bought at Woolco (yes, Woolco!) over 25 years ago.  It served me well with the limited amount of sewing I do.  I’m hoping the new machine will help me try new things (not clothes, just a few cute fabric crafts).

I didn’t get to share all the things I made this year but here are a few random pictures of some glasses and mugs I did the week before Christmas – you can also find “Handmade by Kellybee” on facebook if you want to connect there:
