I love bees!  They do make me happy so when I saw this sentiment in Anna Wight’s “Bee-Lieve in a Cure” stamp set I was giddy. Okay, I don’t really *do* giddy…but it made me smile.

I paired some Basic Grey Urban Prairie patterned paper with some So Saffron cardstock for this card…I think it screams happy:

I stamped the bee and the hive twice and popped them up on the card.  I also added some flower brads with a teeny, tiny rhinestone stuck to the centre as decorations for the hive (there are flowers on the stamp – I just covered them with slightly larger ones).  I was happy to use 3 of the brads from my early crafting days (I have lots…sigh!).

The sewing is very similar to yesterday’s card.  I liked the effect and thought it would make up for the fact that I obliterated the wavy cut I did with the green paper once I stuck the image to the card.  Plus, I need the practice.  I’m getting better at the regular stitching as I get more familiar with my sewing machine so I’m guessing I’ll get better at the swooshes too.

I love this set!
