I’m still here!  It’s been a busy week of mass-production in preparation for Christmas selling and gifting.   When I mass produce craft items I tend to do one stage at a time so if I’d blogged this week you’d have seen an evening of selecting papers/cardstock/stamps, an evening of covering notepads with cardstock, an evening of colouring images, an evening of cutting out the images and an evening of assembling the notepads.  Not thrilling.

In fact, you still won’t see those images today because a) I’ve got a card to share today and 2) I didn’t take pictures of the process.

On to the card…

I’m sure you can tell from my blog post title that this is a going away card…it’s a bit masculine.  The recipient is femail but it’s from a sweet young man and I just knew he wouldn’t want to give her something fussy and girly.  Behold:

I used the new Wander line of paper by Basic Grey and cut a few clouds out with my cricut just to do something different (plus I’m trying to remember to use the darn thing!)

The layout was borrowed from Mercy Kerin (God love Mercy…she inspires me whenever I’m stuck!).

I have to keep this short…I’ve got some card orders to complete and I’m still face and eyes into the Christmas gift assembly…You might think it’s too early to do this stuff but if I don’t push myself now there will be mass panic as the big day draws near.
