CAS 9 banner

This is the second last card from my online class.  Due to time constraints I went with texture over glitter for this assignment.  I do like glitter on cards but felt my time was better used in getting two CAS cards made than prepping and cleaning up from messy craft mediums.

I used an Anna Wight cling set (Bee-lieve in a cure) which is really cute.  I had the set out on my desk because I want to make a card for someone going through cancer treatment at the moment.  However, this time around I used it for a Valentine’s Day card:

CAS 9 Bee Mine

I used some papers I already had on my desk from Valentine construction and I embossed the deep rose paper with my Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder.  The bee’s trail was a bit hidden after the embossing so I went over it with a fine tipped marker.  I added a strip of pink cardstock (scallop border was created using a rectangle nestie) and a sentiment banner with the same colour cardstock.

A few rhinestones and a pink heart are keeping my pop-dotted bee company.
