I just realized how many cards I’ve made using images with cats in them lately.  Wanna know a secret?  I don’t like cats – I’m allergic to them so they’ve never been my favourite animal.

The problem is that Whipper Snapper has such cute images I can’t resist them – even if they feature itch and sneeze inducing felines!

I’m having so many mojo moments lately that I’m worried the well will run dry!  I can’t stop thinking about different card designs – well, everything but Father’s Day card number 4!!!

In an effort to avoid making dreaded #4 (hereafter referred to as DN4) I have managed to come up with another cheerful creation of pure cuteness:

A few quick details…

I used October Afternoon Thrift Shop and some Riding Hood Red cardstock.  The embellishment is a red button with a making memories brad smooshed into it (that’s the best way to describe the process of forcing the prongs of the brad into the button holes!).

The image was coloured with Prismas and OMS but I used a copic marker to add grass at the base of the image.  Not sure why…

I ran a strip of cardstock through an embossing folder for a little added interest.  All in all a simple but effective layout.   Now if I could just get cracking on DN4 – maybe tomorrow…not!  😉
