Before you know it, Christmas will be here and I’m about 14 cards short at the moment.  I’ve made a few of my own “original” designs but yesterday I decided to CASE a lovely card that Dawn McVey made last year using PTI’s In The Meadow.

While my card isn’t exactly like her’s, it’s way closer than I normally like to do when I get inspiration from someone else.  Unfortunately, amount of time + amount of mojo = closer copy.  Dawn’s card is absolutely lovely and if you’re going to copy a card, this is a great one to choose!

Dawn used different patterned paper, didn’t use pearls, used a really pretty sparkly spray on her card and used dies to cut her snowbanks.  Mine are just sort of randomly curved with scissors but it gets the point of snowbanks across nicely.

Off to make more cards.  I have several December birthday cards to make as well so there’s no shortage of work in the craft room today.

Enjoy your weekend!
