It’s been a little while.  Busy life, sick husband, sick me…you know, “stuff”.

I got a fresh batch of Whipper Snapper stamps on Thursday and just finished mounting them on cling foam last night.  Half the order was for my friend Karen and she kindly let me borrow a few of her stamps before she gets to play with them.  Today’s card uses one of Karen’s stamps. (I think I need to borrow it again!)

I kept the layout simple as I’m just at the beginning stages of a cold and am not really in a crafting mood (I’m in a sleeping mood).  I do have a birthday get-together to attend tonight if I can fight off this cold long enough (don’t want to gross out the other attendees!) so I reserved just enough energy to make this card.

I used a Pet Stack paper pad (DCWV – it was a stocking stuffer from DH) and had a scrap of ribbon just large enough to make a bow on the card.

I need to find a green cardstock that goes well with the brighter greens in my copic collection (or buy more copics that match the greens I already have – or both!)  Nothing is quite right so I bailed on the green cardstock I would have preferred to use as the card base and went with some Crushed Curry from SU! (recipient likes curry!)

A button (basic grey, I believe) from my stash and a sentiment from PTI finish off the card.

Enjoy your weekend.  I must go boil the kettle for a hot drink…
