One more Father’s Day card for the archives.  I used a cute little bee that I got from eP.  I actually ordered a bee eating a piece of watermelon and got this one instead.  I was a bit disappointed (and they would have sent me the correct one but were out of stock) but it is a very cute stamp and makes a good masculine card image.  God knows I don’t have enough of those in my stamping stash.  (If I ever designed a line of stamps it would be geared towards making masculine cards)

I had some Basic Grey Cupcake PP that I haven’t used much of.  I should have bought the 6X6 size as the pattern is scaled down.  I find the 12X12 patterns a little large for cards.  The bee’s wings and antennae are glittered and the ketchup on the hotdog was coated with a sakura gel pen to give it a little more “oomph”.  (that’s as close as I can get to blinging out a masculine card)

The end result:

The card looked a little plain as I was assembling it so I used a black SU! marker to splatter some ink on the yellow cardstock (So Saffron).

I’ve just had a request for a hockey-themed Father’s Day card so there might be one more to share after all.  Stay tuned!  Posting hasn’t been too regular as my husband and I are walking in the evenings and getting some exercise actually is more important than blogging! (though sometimes my body would rather blog)
