…with a birthday “hi”…

I’ve had this High Hopes image for some time and have only used it once.  It’s amazing how just a couple of years ago I had very little in the way of card-making “stuff” but now I have enough that it takes me ages to reuse the same stamp. (not that I make hundreds of cards per year but I still seem to have a lot of things that I haven’t gotten my money’s worth out of yet)

I had a request to make a card using a butterfly or a fairy.  The only fairy stamps I have are teeny-tiny fairy sized stamps so the butterfly it is!!  I also had some butterfly paper that I purchased over the summer that really needed using too so I paired them and the paper dictated my colour choices:

I used some Prima flowers that were also sadly neglected plus a brad that I purchased at Joanne when I was in the States about 2 years ago…I’m really trying to share the love with my toys and I think I did well today…of course, I need to make about 4000 more cards to truly get my money’s worth from my stash of paper and stamps.   I’ll keep trying!!!

Don’t forget, there is still time to enter for BLOG CANDY…just leave a comment on any post from September 27-30th.  Each comment is one entry in the draw!
