I’ve got another cute Whipper Snapper card to share today.  I’m on a roll with the Christmas cards…too bad there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything on my list!

It’s a real catch-22 for me every Christmas.  I’m not in the mood to make Christmas cards until it’s almost December but I love using my Christmas stamps and all the cute patterned paper that goes with it.  Of course snowflakes and jingle bells, glitter and holiday ribbon play a roll in the fun too.

I used more Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather paper but in a completely different colour palette than my last penquin card.  The image and sentiment are from Penguin Antics (Anna Wight cling set) – I love how this little guy is tilted to the side…whether he’s skating or he’s just got weak ankles, he’s cute either way!

I used Bazzil cardstock for my base just because I’m trying not to neglect all my supplies.  The pearls were white and I coloured them with a Copic marker to make them coordinate with my card and bring out the little bit of blue in the patterned paper.

The snowflake was created using punches and MS snow glitter (and shamelessly inspired by the incredible Anna Wight) and I antiqued the edges of the patterned paper using some Ranger Antique Linen distress ink.

I think I’ll show you a non-Christmas card tomorrow…I think it’s the only non-Christmas card I’ve made in weeks!
