Yup!  Another lame post title.  Someone needs to write a book on clever titles.  I would buy it…well, I’d certainly borrow it!

I made this card last weekend and the reason I’m only just posting it is last week was the kind of week where I really did want my Mummy…work was crazy busy, my husband was/is not feeling well, I think I’m getting a cold, I actually had some social “obligations” (are they obligations if you want to do them?) and life has been all-around crazy based on my normal routine.  If you’re still reading this, it’s time to move on to the card:

My little guy is extra distressed because I dropped an ink pad on him and had to cover the damage (I’d already mounted the image on my mat so I wasn’t doing it over!).  The stamps are both from Michael’s (the mummy is this year’s and the sentiment was maybe 2 years ago).  I was quite impressed by how deep the rubber is on the mummy stamp.  It made a crisp, clear image.

The paper is from the K&Co stack I bought at the beginning of the year.  There are several cute lines of Halloween paper out right now and I really want them but I have no need for Halloween cards – the only Halloween stuff I do is my yearly treat for my co-workers (just started thinking about this year’s treat…I’ve got my “stuff” but don’t have the presentation down yet.)

I used my newest punch for the circles on the green cardstock – I thought it worked well with the dots in the patterned paper.  It’s one of the EK Success folding punches.  Great for storage and they punch nicely.  The only thing I don’t like about this specific punch is that it leaves too much “unpunched” area underneath the row of dots (I actually trimmed about 1/4″ off the bottom of the cardstock after I punched out the dots).

There’s still time to enter the draw for BLOG CANDY.  Tomorrow’s your last chance!
