Happy first day of 2012!

As promised, here are a few more Paper Smooches examples – this time I used the dog from Chubby Chums which, not surprisingly, is PS Stamps number 1 seller according to the website.  Not only is the dog adorable, but he can definitely be used as a beagle stamp to represent my beloved Jack!

I used the same layout on these cards but changed the orientation and placement of the image.  I’m really trying to make at least 2 similar cards every time I play in my craft room as it doesn’t take that much more time to make a second card if you are using the same papers/layout.  This way I’ll have one card for my personal stash and one for my little store (it’s a basket on my desk at work).

Not only have I made an informal resolution to make multiple cards at a time, I’ve also decided to start the new year with a fresh set of B plates in my Cuttlebug.  The old ones were so curved that they wouldn’t always cut completely around a die and I’d have to run it through the machine a second time.   I did have spares so I’m not sure why it took me so long to swap them out.  Guess I was waiting for them to break!  Oh well, they’re now in the trash (in one piece) so there’s no looking back!

Have you made any crafting resolutions for 2012?  If not, why not take a moment to come up with something that you’d like to change or improve on?  Just make sure it’s something attainable.   I’ve already made 2 “resolutions” as stated above and wanted to make one about using more of my stash but I’ve already learned that I can’t consistently stick to that one so I’m leaving it alone!

Here’s to a fun 2012!
