ETA:  The pens in the sets are RSVP pens.  If you’re looking for a Canadian source you can get them at Staples and Walmart.  Staples usually sells a 5 pack with 2 free pens (7 total) and a 12 pack which sometimes has bonus pens with it.  If there are no bonus pens in the 12 pack it’s more economical to buy two of the 5 packs with a bonus…you’re only paying an extra few cents and you get 2 more pens…Walmart carries a 2 pack that sometimes has one bonus pen and I recently saw the 12 packs there (no bonus).  Make sure you do the math before you purchase!

Well, if you’d asked me on Friday what I would be doing with my extra hour this weekend I would have answered making cards or sleeping but that’s not what I did with my extra hour today…Rich and I cleaned the interior of my car.  Not very exciting but I’m very happy to have it done.   It was 16 (or 18, depending on who you ask) degrees (Celcius) in St. John’s today…unseasonably warm!  Lord knows when the weather will be good enough again to do outdoor chores.

Despite using my hour for something practical, I did manage to produce quite a lot of paper crafts so far this weekend…I’ve been making these:

As usual, items wrapped in plastic bags are a bit difficult for me to photograph but hopefully you can see the fruits of my labours.  So far I’ve made 14 of these notepad/pen combos with a matching tag.  They’re all packaged up and ready to go.   I’ll be making some notepads without pens (and using different paper plus stamped images as I only had the one sheet of chipboard MME colorful christmas shapes…they’re all used up now) this week but I’m working on some Christmas tags tomorrow with my friend Karen and I’m hoping to get some Christmas cards started next week as well.  December will be here before you know it.

Must dash…I have to clean up my room for tomorrow…mass production equals mass destruction in my craft room!
