I really enjoyed making today’s card.  It’s colourful and cheerful and it’s great for a masculine birthday (always harder than feminine birthday cards).

I used another fun image from Your Next Stamp as well as a curved die from Simon Says Stamp, a journal card die from Lawn Fawn, and a mixture of patterned papers (Doodlebug and um, Echo Park who have a few great “boy” themed paper collections)

The grass is a little wonky as I haven’t quite figured out how to properly line up the curved die.  Hills are not usually symmetrical anyway so not a huge problem!

Since the arrival of enamel dots on the paper-crafting scene, it sure is easy to embellish masculine cards!  I’ve certainly embraced the trend and I’m pleased that I’m actually using that particular craft supply.  Now if I could only make a dent in my washi tape collection!
