I’m overdue for a masculine card so I made an effort to choose “masculine” colours for today’s card.  I’m using Basic Grey paper (um, Oliver) and my standard “man” colours of caramel, blue, and green with a little pop of orange (dusty durango – who comes up with these names?) to keep the card from total blandness.

The sentiment is a little washed out – not surprising using clear stamps with dye ink – but I wanted to use a coloured ink this time around (I have lots of SU ink spots but hardly ever use them) instead of my safe black ink.  Chalk ink would have given a better result but I don’t have the right shade of blue.

I debated adding  a button to the centre of my knot but the knot turned out fairly decent and I couldn’t bring myself to cover it with a button.

It’s back to the weekly grind after today so posts will probably be a little less frequent than they have been lately.  Something I need to work on for sure but there’s just not enough energy in my body or brain at the end of a work day to create something and then blog about it.
