I’ve been making a lot of cards and notepads lately and have some really large scraps of patterned paper left over from my projects.  I give away a lot of my “scraps” to a crafty friend with crafty children but these particular leftovers were a bit too large to toss in the donate pile just yet.

I decided to make a little set of “good job” cards to use at work – these come in handy as a supervisor when I want to show someone that I really appreciate a particular contribution they’ve made to our team (I am really lucky to have a great team to supervise).

I purchased a set of Lawn Fawn stamps at my LSS just a few days earlier and thought the set was just the ticket for these 3X3″ cards:

Here are the first 2 using Echo Park paper:

and here are the other two using Carolyn Gavin paper from K&Co.:

I’m giving myself points for using up some “In Colour” scraps for the cardstock – I have to confess that I prefer PTI cardstock these days despite the hefty shipping etc.  I still have LOTS and LOTS of SU cardstock and doubt I’ll give it up completely but it’s nice to use up some of my huge stash of cardstock.

DH liked these cards so much that he asked me to make some to have on hand for his student assistants.  I have to get cracking on that since school starts on Tuesday!
