baby buttercup banner

I’m trying to use a few stamps that haven’t seen ink in a while – I’m ashamed of the number of stamps I have that have only been used once – or not at all!

The stamp I chose today was a favourite of mine when I initially purchased it.   I have a few stamps of this brand from a couple of years ago – the brand is Inky Antics.  While the company is still around, their stamps have gone in a different direction – as have I!

This sweet little stamp is called “Rocking Horse” and it’s great for baby cards or younger children’s birthdays.  It’s suitable for a boy or a girl – just change out the colour of the bridle and saddle.

Here’s my girl card:

baby buttercup

…and here’s my boy card:

baby buckaroo

I kept the layout super simple but popped the horse head and body up on each image and scattered some pearls here and there to give the card a little extra oomph.  Without these little touches these would be very basic cards (but they’d be great for mailing).  A little dimension goes a long way.

Enjoy your Saturday!  I’ve been looking forward to mine all week!
