Another quick card for my Mother In Law (her birthday is only days apart from my Father In Law’s).  Both cards went with me on the trip to visit Bristol as their birthdays are only about a week after we return to Canada.

I was making so many cards prior to the trip (to take on the trip plus some design team work plus some orders) that it was getting a little difficult to come up with something unique.  The only thing really unique about this is the colour combination – sage shadow, real red and um, yellows.

The PP on this card is actually the reverse side of the paper I used for my FIL.  The image is one that I stamped and coloured some time ago – it’s already embellished with some microbeads in the centres of the flowers.  I probably would have done something that matched the paper a little better if I’d had more time.  As it was I just coloured the rope around the stems of the flowers with a red marker to make it match the background a little better.

The sentiment inside is semi-mushy so I hope it makes up a little for the amount of time I didn’t put into this card.  Gotta jet…
