I picked up a couple of cute $1.50 stamps at Michael’s over a month ago and thought they’d be perfect for a few Easter cards that I needed to make.  I’ve already used the sheep for my co-worker’s Easter treats but I dusted the stamps off again this week for cards.  I’m loving the layout of today’s card – clean and simple but not boring…

I used some PTI cardstock along with a scrap of SU Pretty in Pink, PTI ribbon and Echo Park paper.  The sentiment is PTI and the tag is free cut with scissors.  I rounded the bottom corners and stitched a simple line around the edge of the patterned paper.

The image was a breeze to colour as I left most of it white with a few highlights from a pale blue Copic marker and some grey on the arms and legs. (I coloured the ears pink after I took the picture – an oversight on my part)

I used my Bow-Easy on the ribbon but I am doing something wrong because my tidy knot is always on the back of the bow.  Oh well, a white Basic Grey button from my stash hides the knot perfectly!
