As mentioned yesterday, today’s card uses the CUTEST mouse stamp EVER.  This is an image my friend Karen purchased the last time we ordered stamps from WS (we go halves on the shipping as it’s steep!) and it is a lot bigger than it looks on the website.  I think I’m going to have to order one for myself the next time we buy WS stamps.

This guy is called Squeaky Baker and I had fun stamping some elements twice and popping them up on the card with dimensionals.  Not sure if the apron was the right thing to pop but I did that in addtion to the baker’s hat and the stack of goodies.  Next time I use this stamp I will be coating the sweets with lots of glitter.

I used some American Crafts patterned paper for my background and the cardstock base is kiwi kiss from SU.   I was going to add a sentiment but haven’t decided if I really want to.  I’m playing with punching a small hole in the plate under the pie and adding a tiny tag that says “for you”…

The inside of the card says “Hope your birthday is the sweetest ever!”

I had another project to share but I gave it away without taking a picture.  My cousin had a 40th birthday party on Saturday and I made a card and a set of personalized stationary but I was actually too busy to take pictures of it before we left for the party.  (We’re redecorating our spare bedroom and it has been a little more time-consuming than anticipated.)  I reallly need to make myself take pictures of my projects (my picture taking skills are so bad that I dread taking photos so I only take them at the absolute last minute before blogging about the project.)

Must dash…work starts in 5.
