The title of this post is for Melanie…’nuff said.

This challenge card was made using a computer-generated sentiment.  I was trying to emulate PTI’s tiny treats last year.  I really want the stamp set because it’s freakin’ adorable but I simply don’t make enough Valentine/Love themed stamps to justify the purchase.

I had an airplane stamp in an SU! set so  I just stamped the plane over the sentiment after I printed it out.

I believe the scraps are from a Basic Grey paper pad – I don’t have that pad – the paper is from my friend Karen – so I don’t know the name of it.

I was pleased to use up THREE brads on this card but it was a bit boring so I stamped some postal themed stamps from Technique Tuesday all over the card to give it a little more interest.

I used a bit of a trend on the patterned paper by cutting inverted “V”s to make a banner end on the paper.  I just drew a little mark at the centre point of the back of the paper and cut the V out with scissors.  I have no idea how people usually do this.  I’ve used a square punch to notch the end of a sentiment before but my paper was a bit wide for my punches.

The card has a bit of a “collage” feel to it.  I used to be VERY into that style of card before I became interested in actually colouring the stamped images.  It’s funny how things can change.
