Ah, the last Valentine of the season.  I love making cards for “holidays” but it gets a bit tiresome near the end.   I have a couple of non-Valentine’s projects coming up plus some new stamps that need to be inked and I’m anxious to get started on that.

This little guy is such a simple card yet it took me AGES to work out the layout.  Part of me feels it needs ribbon but I wasn’t sure so I left it off (less is more, right?).  I was trying to make one of the cats (dude on the left) a bit tabbyish but I’m not that up on my cats so it probably just looks like a bad colouring job.

Here we go:

The bow tie and hair ribbon are sparkly IRL.  Nesties were used to cut the hearts and the black and silver paper is from a DCWV glitter stack so this is a little more blingy in person.   The inside statement reads “You’re The Cat’s Meow”.  Maybe not the most original sentiment but it’s cute.

Not too chatty tonight – I’m on day 4 of a headache so it’s off to fold some laundry and then to hopefully catch some zzzzz’s.

Supplies used: Bazzil cardstock – maraschino, DCWV glitter stack, Fluffles In Love stamp, Nestabilities, buttons (mouse and fishbone), punches, spica glitter pen (clear)
