Hi there.

I’ve been taking a couple of weeks off from the blog (and from crafting time) so that the Summer weather that FINALLY arrived in NL doesn’t pass me by.  It was a long Winter and a non-existent Spring so I’ll be darned if I spend the couple of decent weather months we get here in the basement of my house.

Having said that, it’s a bit too warm upstairs this afternoon (26 degrees – quite warm for St. John’s) and poor Jack gets jumpy when the windows are open – the noise and anything blowing around makes him quite anxious – so I’m spending an hour in my much cooler craft room to tidy it up and blog a few projects I did a couple of weeks ago.

Today I’m sharing a wedding card I made – didn’t know the colours of the bridal party but wanted to do something different than pink so I chose yellow.  I’m really happy with how this turned out.  Simple is good.

Of course, white is a nightmare to photograph if you aren’t a photographer (and probably if you are!) but you get the idea.

I used textured Bazzill cardstock to give the card a little more elegance.

Back soon!
