The weather has been terrible over the last couple of days.  Loads of rain yesterday (on top of lots of snow that was already on the ground) and freezing temperatures today make for a treacherous Winter Wonderland.

I was going to make a baby card for today’s post but a cute little watering can that had yet to see ink was calling my name.  I couldn’t *quite* make this card spring-like considering the weather conditions but it’s definitely spring-themed (I gravitated towards muted tones for this card):

I used the same layout as yesterday’s card but changed the width of the patterned paper strips, made a slightly larger focal image and changed up the shape of the sentiment.  I’m really loving this layout.  It works perfectly for me as I tend to go with one colour of cardstock and two patterned papers.  Anything more than that is too fussy for me.

As I already knew what layout I wanted to use, this card came together very quickly…and that’s a good thing!

Don’t forget – there’s still time to enter my BLOG CANDY draw.  You could win a Bow Easy Mini!
